Led, designed, and launched curriculum for the inaugural required design research studio incorporating cognitive science, data modeling, data ethics, and design research principles and methods. Conceived for the future of digital design work in a world mediated by artificial intelligence. Designed and developed custom spreadsheet-based assignments, custom web portal for class management, and internal visualization platform for simulating backend data engineering workflows. Students produced abstraction diagrams, data models, data visualizations, and interfaces individually and then in pairs. Studio took place over three hours, three times a week, with 24 students who received a mix of lectures and workshops with individualized one-on-one design critiques. Students were also coached on presentation skills and strategy.
